Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Jobot. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving financial firm by managing and optimizing our tax accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file accurate corporate tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct detailed tax research and planning to optimize our tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Analyse and review financial documents and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with external auditors during audits and provide necessary information.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of all financial data and reports.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations and inform management of any significant changes that could impact the company.
  • Provide expert tax advice to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and implement effective tax accounting strategies to optimize our tax position.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate tax.
  • Proven experience in preparing and filing corporate tax returns.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local level.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in tax accounting software and other financial management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
