This pivotal role involves managing a production team during the designated shift. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining digital printing and fulfillment machinery. The ideal candidate should exhibit independence and effective communication skills. Establishing strong relationships with all Mad Engine teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in inventory management and production oversight is required.
- Supervise the assigned shift, overseeing stock pickers, press operators, quality assurance, warehouse staff, and fulfillment personnel.
Experience in manufacturing or production, especially in apparel or offset printing, is highly valued. A new hire should find the technology straightforward to learn.
- Adhere to the production schedule established by the Production Planning Manager.
- Ensure product standards and quality control protocols are implemented.
- Conduct regular partial physical inventory checks to maintain record accuracy.
Duties & Requirements:
- Assist distribution and warehouse staff.
- Operate production machinery as needed, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Lead and inspire staff, evaluate performance, and identify training opportunities.
- Manage team schedules and timekeeping.
- Forklift operation and occasional travel may be necessary.
Skills Needed:
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing; independent supervision and planning capabilities are crucial.
- Basic mechanical and equipment troubleshooting skills are necessary.
- Strong organizational abilities, capacity to multitask, and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills, proficiency in data organization, and time management.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite and knowledge of ERP or MRP systems.
- Self-motivated with a cost-conscious mindset and strong initiative.
