Position Overview


We are seeking a skilled .NET software engineer to become a vital part of our team, specifically within the Chemistry division. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a diverse range of applications that significantly influence laboratory operations.

The Chemistry division is integral to providing essential services such as analytical chemistry, measurement science, and molecular spectroscopy, among others.


Your mission will be to create reliable, secure, and cost-effective software solutions that align with our operational goals and support the overarching mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Support and enhance .NET applications for the Chemistry division and its associated teams.
  • Utilize your extensive experience in .NET software development to deliver high-quality applications.
  • Write and execute test cases, ensuring robust automated testing practices.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in development tools and processes, architecting innovative web and mobile solutions.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:
• Proficiency in .NET Core 6+ or comparable frameworks.
• Experience in both automated and manual testing for .NET applications, including tools like Playwright.
• Familiarity with test case planning, execution, automation, and defect management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.


Education and Experience:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline along with 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly relevant to the role. Advanced coursework may be advantageous.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Blazor technology.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server 2016+ and familiarity with Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Strong communication skills and a good aptitude for collaboration.
• Experience with Git version control and secure coding practices.

This position offers the potential for remote work, with the understanding that occasional onsite presence may be required. All work arrangements are subject to management discretion.
