Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating: Prepare detailed estimates for commercial electrical projects, including labor and material costs.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project management to ensure project success and meet client expectations.
  • Electrical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in electrical construction to guide decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Code Compliance: Understand and apply relevant electrical codes, materials, and installation methods.
  • Plan Review: Review plans and specifications for electrical systems, power, lighting, and fire alarms.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7-10+ years of experience estimating large commercial electrical projects ($3M+).
  • Electrical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical materials and systems.
  • Estimating Software: Proficiency in estimating software like Accubid or McCormick.
  • Plan Interpretation: Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering plans.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and leadership skills.
