At Datwyler, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production output, ensuring timely completion of orders and maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Lead and manage the production department, including hiring, training, and developing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), and ISO standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, validate new procedures, and establish departmental direction for future projects.
  • Address customer complaints, develop short-term and long-term plans to prevent recurring issues, and review and recommend new or enhanced procedures to maximize efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or MBA, or equivalent technical knowledge with 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing supervisory and departmental management responsibilities.
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment, GMP environment, and chemical-based manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent PC skills, including MS Office Word, Excel, and Access, and prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
