About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to airlines, MRO facilities, and OEMs, troubleshooting complex issues and resolving customer complaints.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis of field-reported issues and communicate problem resolution activity to customers.
  • Documentation: Establish and maintain Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Letters, Service Bulletins, and other technical documents.
  • Communication: Respond to technical inquiries from customers, Field Service Engineers, and the Customer Response Center (CRC).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to deliver high-quality solutions and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: 3 or more years of general engineering experience, with experience utilizing Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP Experience: Experience with SAP software and systems.
  • Customer Support Experience: Experience in a customer support role, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Aerospace Experience: Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, with knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
