Job Summary:

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team. As a Co-Op, you will work alongside experienced Manufacturing Engineers, test technicians, and production floor operators to resolve test, product flow, quality, ergonomic, and safety issues associated with state-of-the-art manufacturing and test techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, working on machining and assembly activities, including writing work instructions, router revisions, fixture and tooling design.
  • Collect, prepare, and assist in analyzing test failures for root cause and aid in corrective actions.
  • Aid or lead site support initiatives from a technical perspective.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Learn:

You will gain advanced skills in manufacturing process optimization and quality improvement methodologies, techniques for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement in manufacturing, compliance standards and audit processes, and interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration across different departments.

Requirements:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. U.S. citizenship is required.
