Job Description

Production Process Operator

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. is seeking a skilled Production Process Operator to join our team in Madison, WI. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for processing and packaging cultures produced at our Freeze Dry plant, as well as mixing, blending, and formulating batches of raw ingredients and materials into finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to quality systems, including ISO 9001, Food Safety GMP's, HACCP, and FSSC 22000.
  • Comply with company policies, including Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental, GMP's, and Attendance.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to make adjustments in the production process.
  • Load and unload process equipment, and move raw materials, equipment, and final products throughout the plant.
  • Maintain accurate written records or logs of all production processes/equipment/maintenance/routine cleaning.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent, with a successful work history and proven mechanical ability.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using percentages and decimals, and utilize the metric system for measurement.
  • Ability to read, communicate, comprehend, and follow oral and written procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job in a safe and efficient manner.
