We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at UW Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care by processing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with our surgical team to ensure seamless operations and efficient patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Certification by BCSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
