This job opportunity highlights a rewarding position for a Clinical Laboratory Technician with RemX.
Work Schedule- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Conduct blood collections, label samples, process specimens, maintain records, and ensure cleanliness, while updating patient details as necessary.
- Gather and preserve samples in accordance with established protocols.
- Clearly and courteously explain the blood draw process to patients.
- Demonstrate blood collection techniques using both straight and butterfly needles.
- Ensure accurate matching of laboratory requisition forms with specimen containers; label, process, and store samples appropriately.
- Engage in annual training sessions for departmental compliance.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information regarding laboratory results.
- Fulfill additional assigned tasks as required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in blood collection within a dynamic laboratory or healthcare environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Phlebotomy certification as mandated by state regulations (certification is necessary for specific states).
- Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are advantageous.
