Key Responsibilities
  • Perform construction inspections of basic to high complexity, evaluating the condition of structures and documenting deterioration, structural condition, and any needed sampling.
  • Document deficiencies between design and execution of construction, providing reports to project leadership upon discovery of issues.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or Vocational Technical degree or equivalent.
  • 6 years of related experience in construction inspection, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and quickly learn new computer, smartphone or related applications and programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in construction.
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret and explain construction plans and drawings, contract provisions, and specifications.
