The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the gaming industry, including knowledge of modern gaming, retailer insight, sales lifecycles, line planning, trends, and play patterns.", "ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES": "\u2022 Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director, Licensing to determine strategic objectives and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the IP Licensing departmental goals\u2022 Possess acute interest in gaming industry including knowledge of modern gaming, retailer insight, sales lifecycles, line planning, trends and play patterns\u2022 Analyze existing licensee businesses via sales comparisons, forecasts, and competitive analysis on a quarterly basis\u2022 Ability to communicate with cross functional teams including brand marketing, legal, finance and other Bandai Namco affiliated international territories\u2022 Gather annual and quarterly sales projections and verify quarterly sales with licensee partners for the finance department\u2022 Contribute to new Licensee recruitment: blue sky ideation, incremental business opportunity identification, trend research, and overall market analysis\u2022 Research current trends in the market, retailers, products, brands, and companies for new business opportunities\u2022 Develop style guides for each brand by working with creative services and master licensors\u2022 Work with eCommerce team to develop a linear promotional strategy for BANDAI NAMCO stores and other major eCommerce retailer to support and grow business\u2022 Prospect for new Licensees, present pitches, prepare sales materials, presentations/decks and ad-hoc reports/requests\u2022 Participate in weekly cross-functional approval meetings with Licensing, , Legal, Brand IP owners, and Marketing teams to gain internal alignment and direction\u2022 Up to 25% for trade and industry related show", "QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS": "\u2022 5+ years of experience in licensing or related industry experience\u2022 Strong proficiency in reviewing licensing contracts and fluency in negotiating key business terms\u2022 Knowledge of gaming industry\u2022 Effective communication and presentation skills including deck building\u2022 Resourceful, pro-active, self-starter and team player\u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment\u2022 Fluent in English and Japanese (preferred)\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related field\u2022 Or relevant work experience", "SALARY RANGE": "$93,600 - $117,800"}
