About the Role

MGO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assurance Manager/Senior Manager to join our team. As a key member of our assurance practice, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex audit engagements, managing a team of lower-level associates, and ensuring high-quality results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex audit engagements, including planning, budgeting, and execution
  • Manage a team of lower-level associates, delegating tasks and reviewing client work
  • Exhibit technical proficiency and project management skills, leading a team to complete and deliver products and services in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of associates, HQ personnel, management, partners, and clients
  • Act as an advisor to lower-level associates, providing timely verbal and written feedback, including conducting annual performance evaluations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Supervisor
  • Proven ability to assign work, guide employees, and complete projects on time and in budget
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Professional Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License from an appropriate state or Chartered Accountant from an appropriate jurisdiction
