Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will work independently with minimal oversight to support the entire Commercial Banking Team by managing client interactions and preparing essential documentation. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and uphold the bank's customer service excellence. A solid understanding of various loan types and related requirements is essential, along with the ability to exercise discretion and act independently to fulfill those requirements. You will gather, compile, and assess information to make informed recommendations, ensuring all necessary documentation for loan processing is collected.

Core Duties:
  • Represent the bank positively and professionally in all interactions, whether in person, via phone, or through email.
  • Provide comprehensive management of the loan portfolio and administrative support to the Commercial Banking Team, including senior management.
  • Assess the needs of commercial clients and identify suitable solutions for service inquiries and account openings.
  • Coordinate the collection and evaluation of information from clients and third parties to support loan processing.
  • Maintain organized electronic files by accurately labeling and storing loan documents and client data.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and all parties involved in the loan process, ensuring clear communication regarding document requirements and loan status.
  • Promote customer satisfaction and retention by proactively reaching out to clients to confirm resolution of issues and proper setup of accounts.
  • Contribute to the Commercial Team's success in business development by researching potential clients and preparing marketing materials.
  • Work independently or collaboratively to address loan delinquencies and financial documentation issues.
  • Monitor financial covenants and borrowing bases in conjunction with Commercial Relationship Managers.
  • Process loan advance requests and ensure proper disbursement of funds.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience:
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in preparing and managing loan documentation for complex commercial loans.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and legal considerations in the completion of personal and commercial loans.
  • Familiarity with loan regulations such as RESPA and HMDA.
  • Ability to work autonomously to resolve issues and complete complex transactions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the bank's loan policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
