- Review and document medication administration records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure seamless medication management and resident care.
- Maintain a safe and organized medication cart and treatment area, ensuring that all medications are properly stored and secured.
- Assist with resident care and activities, promoting independence and dignity while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Participate in daily Cross Over meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
- Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, promoting risk management and safety protocols.
- Report all accidents, incidents, and concerns to the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse in a timely manner.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; certifications and ongoing training may be required per state or provincial regulations.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred; ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in difficult situations; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
