Role Responsibilities:
The Biomedical Equipment Technician II is responsible for performing cost-efficient maintenance on both company-owned and client-owned medical devices, primarily at client locations, to guarantee their proper functioning and alignment with customer requirements. This role includes conducting operational checks, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair services.

Key Duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, calibration, and repair of various medical devices.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation and data entry for billing and compliance purposes.
- Engage with clinical staff regarding equipment features and functionalities.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology is required.
Alternative qualifications may include equivalent military training or certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).
- Proven ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of medical equipment or demonstrated expertise in specialized areas such as anesthesia, imaging, network-smart technology, respiratory devices, or sterilizers.- A valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record according to Agiliti policies.
- Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to provide technical training to colleagues in areas such as equipment operation, maintenance procedures, quality management, and compliance with international standards.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 operational schedule.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements.- Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Skills Required:
- Strong customer service orientation, hands-on training capabilities, effective interpersonal communication, leadership skills, familiarity with medical equipment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, quality documentation practices, self-motivation, teamwork, troubleshooting abilities, independent working skills, and strong written communication skills.
