Job Description

Job Summary:

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial services project, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial reporting and schedule preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, and accrual calculations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OCC, Federal Reserve, and SEC filings.
  • Schedule Preparation: Prepare schedules and related workpapers in support of quarterly filings.
  • Communication: Communicate with supervisors and management team regarding financial close, issues, and deliverables.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
    • Experience: Extensive SEC/bank regulatory reporting accounting experience.
    • Skills: Proficiency in Excel.
