Job Summary

We're looking for a highly experienced and skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to provide top-notch maintenance and repair services for our commercial building clients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' HVAC/R systems, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting and repairing complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and repairing equipment
    • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a timely manner
  • Emergency Response
    • Respond promptly to emergency HVAC/R system failures and perform repairs as needed
  • Facilities Maintenance
    • Assist with minor routine facility maintenance and preventative maintenance, including light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, caulking, and plumbing
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency calls as assigned
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum of 8 years of commercial HVAC experience and general building maintenance repair
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • HVAC Technical Training Certificate preferred
    • EPA Certificate required
    • OSHA 10/40 Certification preferred
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer-focused skills
    • Understanding of advanced principles of chilled water systems, refrigeration systems, and domestic water systems
    • Working knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, and/or other general repair skills
    • Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle
