Medical Device Innovation Designer

In this exciting role, you will be part of a dynamic team that develops innovative solutions for the medical device industry. As a Cardiovascular Delivery System Engineer at Mirus LLC, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test the delivery system for our transcatheter valve replacement system.

You will have the chance to work on various aspects of the product development process, from spec development and design conceptualization to concept prototyping and testing. Your expertise in catheter design and medical materials will be essential in defining design parameters and ensuring the quality of our products.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in catheter design.
- Proficiency in 3-D CAD modeling and drafting, preferably SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with injection molding design is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical materials related to catheters, such as Polymers, Nitinol, Stainless Steels, Fluoropolymers, etc.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
- Demonstrated initiative and follow-through in executing project responsibilities, overcoming obstacles, and balancing multiple priorities.
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other team members, cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Experience with FDA Medical Device guidelines.
