Key Responsibilities
  • Route Management: Manage a dedicated route of commercial clients, delivering exceptional service in a professional, safe, friendly, and cordial manner.
  • Pest Control Services: Participate in training and certification programs, then apply knowledge to locate, identify, destroy, control, and repel pests.
  • Client Relationships: Partner with clients and technical specialists to solve complex pest problems, provide proactive guidance, and communicate options and recommendations for managing new or complex pest problems.
  • Service Delivery: Set up, monitor, and tear down equipment for new installations and specialized treatments, respond quickly and professionally to client complaints and service requests, and work a flexible schedule as needed to meet client expectations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Drive and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized company service vehicle according to Sprague and DOT standards.
  • Account Growth: Seek out opportunities to grow accounts and branch sales by asking for referrals, speaking with clients about add-on services, products, and equipment, and logging leads for the sales team.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years in route sales, merchandising, dispatching, or logistics.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, set priorities and manage time, adapt quickly to varying environments and job site conditions, and navigate conflict and recommend options.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and pest control, industrial, or safety certifications (nice to have).
What We Offer
  • Compensation: $21-26/hour (depending on experience) plus performance bonus and commission.
  • Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental Insurance within 30 days of hire, 401K after 1 year, with 100% match up to 3% plus 50% match up to 6%, and paid time off.
