Job Title: Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Space Systems

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead the space segment technical team in Dulles, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading systems analysis and trades, coordinating space segment engineering activities, and managing engineering baselines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the space segment technical team to develop and implement systems engineering solutions
  • Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to achieve program goals
  • Manage engineering baselines, interface management, and requirements/V&V management
  • Develop and execute integration and test campaigns
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field with 8 years of experience
  • Extensive technical experience in systems engineering and integration of complex systems
  • Understanding of spacecraft detailed design, integration, and test
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active or current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
  • Experience in system architecture and CONOPs development
  • Experience with integration and test of spacecraft systems
  • Experience with various technical tools such as MATLAB, STK, CORE, DOORS, or CAMEO
