Position Overview

SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of the HR Generalist, the HR Intern plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive support across various Human Resources functions, ensuring the seamless operation of the department.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

We prioritize educational growth and invite current students to gain practical experience while pursuing their academic objectives. Our primary aim is to equip students with insights into real-world challenges faced by organizations. We are committed to accommodating our interns' schedules to allow them to balance their studies effectively. Additionally, we offer competitive compensation to our interns. This internship will provide valuable exposure to business operations and the manufacturing sector, enhancing the intern's resume and competitiveness in the job market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to this role, with the possibility of additional tasks as needed:

  • Support recruitment efforts using our online software
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organize and maintain data files
  • Utilize or learn the HRIS system for hands-on experience in HR processes
  • Exhibit intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Participate in or learn interviewing techniques
  • Assist in organizing events to foster company culture
  • Gain insight into the functions of HR Departments
  • Support compliance with regulatory programs
  • Provide assistance as required by the HR team
  • Conduct research and present findings to address HR challenges
  • Engage in a fun and educational experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must possess a keen attention to detail, effective communication skills across all organizational levels, and strong organizational and computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of a high school diploma is required. Candidates should be pursuing a 2 or 4-year degree in Human Resources or Business Management to qualify for the internship program.
