Environmental Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Manager to join our team at Compliance Management International (CMI). This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and the ability to ensure contractor compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee contractor compliance with federal, state, local, and installation-specific environmental regulations.
  • Implement and monitor adherence to environmental programs, including hazardous waste management and stormwater compliance.
  • Manage environmental permits, records, and documentation to ensure proper closeout and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain employee training programs to ensure staff understands and adheres to environmental standards and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental compliance or management, preferably within construction or industrial project sites.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance programs, excellent recordkeeping, and project management skills.
  • Completion of training in 40 CFR requirements or willingness to complete upon hire.

As an Environmental Manager at CMI, you can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
