About the Role:

In this position, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to a geriatric population with varying functional levels. Your goal is to maximize their quality of life and movement potential through evidence-based care.

Key responsibilities include assessing patients' current levels of functioning, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing unique interventions to promote improvement. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure collaborative care and successful outcomes.

Your Typical Day:
  • You will engage in one-on-one sessions with active older adult patients, leveraging your extensive expertise and passion for helping others.
  • As a Geriatric Physical Therapist, you will develop meaningful relationships with patients, their families, doctors, and fellow team members, fostering a supportive environment for growth and success.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge, ensuring you stay at the forefront of best practices.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited school of physical therapy
  • An active or pending state license to practice physical therapy
  • Experience or interest in geriatric physical therapy settings
