Position Summary

The Patient Care Assistant plays a vital role in supporting basic patient care tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with care plans and procedures as directed by a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Supports patients with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and mobility assistance.
  • Observes and reports any changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions.
  • Performs light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment.
  • Addresses patients' psychosocial and spiritual needs.
  • Fosters positive and therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Responds promptly to patient requests and safety concerns.
Qualifications:

Required Credentials:

  • Must hold a certification as a Companion, Home Health Aide, Nurse Aide, or Certified Nurse Aide.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
