Produce Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Sales Associate to join our team at Hannaford Supermarkets. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and ensure that all products are displayed and merchandised to meet company standards.
- Perform daily tasks such as stocking, culling, and rotation of produce to ensure maximum freshness and quality.
- Prepare and package produce according to company standards and quality goals.
- Assist in training new associates and perform other functions as assigned.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in a produce department or related field.
- Knowledge of produce handling and storage procedures.
- Ability to learn and operate a cash register and other point-of-sale equipment.
