About the Role

Carter's/OshKosh is seeking a Seasonal Material Handler to join our team in a distribution center environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of products through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Login to scanner/computer system and utilize it to inquire/research cases, adjust/create cases, and palletize cases.
  • Unload cases from one pallet and stack onto another, consistently lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Open cases and tape cases closed, as well as build boxes and label according to instructions.
  • Tear down cases/boxes and move to compactor.
Requirements
  • Proven team member with skills to multi-task and ability to clearly and effectively communicate with others (Supervisors and co-workers).
  • Basic math and reading skills, with a high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must have the ability to abide by all of Carter's policies and procedures and know, understand, and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Previous experience in an automated distribution center environment is preferred, as well as the ability to work in a multi-channel, multi-shift distribution environment.
  • Must be available to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and be able to stand and work for long periods, including daily overtime, holidays, and overtime as required.
