About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Loan Officer to join our team at NEXA Mortgage. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for handling inbound leads, engaging with potential clients, and providing tailored mortgage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads and engage with potential clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Pre-qualify borrowers and guide them through the loan process from application to closing.
  • Work with our extensive network of lenders to secure the best mortgage products for clients.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients to ensure a smooth and stress-free loan process.

Requirements:

  • Active NMLS License is required.
  • Proven track record as a phone-based closer or sales professional, preferably in the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • Strong ability to build rapport quickly and manage high volumes of inbound calls.
  • 1+ year of mortgage loan origination or phone sales experience is preferred, but motivated newcomers are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information for clients.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a commission-driven role.
