  • Operate an espresso machine and make specialty coffee drinks, as well as perform other tasks related to food service and hospitality.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in food service, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse population and professionally represent St. Charles Health System.
  • Basic to intermediate ability and experience in computer applications, electronic email, and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including a fast-paced kitchen and patient care areas. The employee must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and use a variety of equipment and tools. The employee must also be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.

Language

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
