Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our team at Enfabrica. As an IT Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, and providing exceptional support to our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, network switches, and WiFi access points.
  • Help Desk Support: Provide timely and effective support to team members, resolving IT-related issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies, manage inventory, and coordinate with finance to adhere to budgets.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Network and System Administration: Configure and manage machines running Linux, ChromeOS, or Windows OS, and troubleshoot IT-related issues.
  • Logistics and Shipping: Receive, sort, and distribute packages, and handle logistics for shipping and receiving.
  • Security and Access Control: Implement various office policies and procedures regarding inventory management, access, and security.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing and supporting operations and logistics for a department, division, or private office.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and track issues to closure. Resourceful problem-solving and efficient time management.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware maintenance, server software maintenance, and network infrastructure.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift servers up to 50 lbs onto dollies, server lifts, and server racks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Server Configuration Management Systems: Proficiency in server configuration management systems such as puppet or ansible.
  • IT Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Google GSuite, MSFT365, JazzHR, Adobe Sign, Jira desired.
  • Network and Security Knowledge: Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, SSH, HTTPS, ACLs, SSO, latency, and bandwidth.
  • Cloud Service Providers: Basic understanding of cloud service providers like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
