Position Overview:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is dedicated to providing customer-facing technical assistance for amusement machine products while also performing essential warehouse tasks to ensure optimal storage, fulfillment, and servicing of Play Mechanix Inc. products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all technical aspects of the Play Mechanix product line, which encompasses any game or product under the company’s umbrella. Responsibilities include unloading, unpacking, storing, technical setup, repacking, and shipping of game units.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of all test and development games, both in-house and at various testing locations. This requires a solid understanding of system functionality for all Play Mechanix games and the ability to troubleshoot electronic systems to the board level.
  • Engage with customers and the Warehouse Supervisor to deliver the highest standard of customer service.
  • Supervise field test units for all Play Mechanix products, including setting up games on location and servicing all test games while on-site. Utilize diagnostic and analytical skills to troubleshoot game issues before traveling to a location. Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are essential, along with having all necessary tools and parts for repairs or replacements.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be open to minimal travel. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Assist with game testing, light moving of games and equipment, and minor office maintenance tasks such as furniture assembly and picture hanging as needed.
  • Submit a weekly written status report to the department head, due each Friday.
  • Core working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of coin-operated amusement machine functionality and assembly.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong customer service abilities, whether via phone, email, or in person.
  • Basic electronics knowledge and training are necessary.
  • Ability to use a multimeter effectively.
  • Familiarity with the proper use of hand tools.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is preferred.
