ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Production Packaging Specialist position is an entry-level opportunity within the facility. This role focuses on packaging operations, maintaining cleanliness, and providing coverage during breaks. The primary work area will be within the production section.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Safely guide out-bound trucks into material loading docks, ensuring proper dock-locks are utilized.
2. Reclaim off-quality materials and reintegrate them into the production process.
3. Operate packaging machinery, ensuring that bags are placed correctly on the equipment for optimal packaging of finished products.
4. Conduct general cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, cleaning machinery, and maintaining break rooms.
5. Assist with preventative maintenance tasks as required.
6. Support special projects as directed by plant management.
7. Engage in safety and housekeeping initiatives as established within the facility.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
1 – 3 years in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
- Competence in performing intermediate mathematical calculations.
