Job Overview

As a part-time Adjunct Faculty member in the Photography program at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned undergraduate courses in photography, including composition, principles of lighting, and controls for film and digital equipment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success.
  • Hold regular office hours to meet with students and provide individualized support and feedback.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, such as photography, fine arts, or a related field.
  • Prior teaching experience and relevant field/industry experience.
  • Ability to use course management systems, such as Canvas, and other technology tools to support teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
