About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced dental hygiene professional to join our team as an adjunct faculty member. As a part-time instructor, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in dental hygiene and providing clinical instruction to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned undergraduate courses in dental hygiene
  • Provide clinical instruction and supervision to dental hygiene students
  • Use best practices to continually evaluate student coursework
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of teaching responsibilities
  • Review and respond to all university-related and student communications in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
  • Current Registered Dental Hygienist with active license in the State of Ohio
  • Local Anesthesia license in the State of Ohio
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical dental hygiene environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of teaching experience in a dental hygiene program
  • Experience with Eaglesoft dental software program
