Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Regional Director of Community Living for United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the operational management of residential locations in the Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Compliance
    • Ensure that all residential locations operate in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality care and services.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff on behavior management techniques, emergency situations, and medical situations.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality services.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to staff.
    • Ensure that all staff are properly trained on van safety and maintenance.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage budgets for residential locations to ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance with regulations.
    • Review and approve financial records, including credit card purchases and petty cash expenditures.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Health and Safety
    • Conduct regular site visits to ensure that residential locations meet all safety requirements.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
    • Review and approve safety plans and incident reports.
  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Ensure that all staff are in compliance with training and personnel requirements.
    • Manage region compliance to Relias activities, including training completion and expiration.
    • Respond to all calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Build relationships with families and consumers to ensure their needs are met.
    • Attend meetings and training events to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Service or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in residential services, including 5 years of management experience.
  • GA Driver's License and vehicle insurance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
