Responsibilities Include:
Inspiring, developing, mentoring, and retaining team members while assigning challenging tasks Reviewing the preparation of compilation and review level financial statements Collaborating across various departments, including tax, assurance, accounting, and advisory, to uncover opportunities for comprehensive client service Staying informed on technical and industry advancements and assessing their potential impact on clients' business and financial standing Participating in client proposals and identifying new business development avenues Leading the engagement team in planning and executing audit, review, or compilation engagements to deliver exceptional client service Overseeing daily operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and finalizationIdeal Candidates Will Possess:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a related business field CPA designation or intentions to pursue the CPA examination A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a CPA firm focusing on external audits and general accounting Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and technical abilities Outstanding client service and communication skills, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining excellent client relationships Capability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, along with exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively represent the Firm to clients' managementWithum is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
