Surgical Team Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant to join our surgical team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our team, you will provide assistance to the surgical team during the intra-operative phase of surgical care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgeon and healthcare team in the performance of surgical procedures, including assessment, planning, directing, providing, and evaluating advanced nursing care.
- Participate in a regional on-call rotation to provide surgical assistance for elective, emergent, and urgent surgical cases.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of peri-operative scrubbing and circulating experience in a KP OR or one year experience as an RNFA in or outside of KP.
- Certification of Completion from AORN recognized RNFA course.
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon) and Nurse Operating Room Certificate.
