Theater Assistant Manager Job Description

At McMenamins, we're seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Theater Assistant Manager. This role is responsible for assisting the Assistant Manager and Head Manager in overseeing all theater operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing theater operations, including event setup, tear-down, and logistics
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Work closely with the Assistant Manager and Head Manager to ensure smooth event execution and effective communication
  • Assist with staff supervision, training, and development to ensure a high-performing team
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and ordering, as assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as theater management or hospitality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and work with numbers
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment
