CPU Pre-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

At Apple, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in CPU design. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPU Pre-Silicon Engineering Program Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team of engineers and technical experts in the development of cutting-edge CPU architectures. As a CPU Pre-Silicon Engineering Program Manager, you'll be responsible for driving the full program lifecycle from spec definition through execution, tapeout, and support of post-silicon activities and debug.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the development of CPU IP across several programs.
  • Develop and negotiate project schedules and deliverables.
  • Drive regular project meetings to focus the team on upcoming landmarks and to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Identify risks and dependencies, generate mitigation plans, and ensure appropriate steps are taken to resolve.
  • Communicate program status and blocking issues to multifunctional teams and different levels of management.
Requirements
  • BS + 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven Silicon development experience in Design, Verification, Implementation, physical Design, DFT, or silicon validation.
  • Proven CPU development experience.
  • Established technical leadership and/or project management experience.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong time and task leadership skills with consistent attention to detail.
  • Strong organization skills to organize self and the team's execution.
