About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Quality Team at RTX as a Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our aerospace manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with precision measuring equipment to inspect parts, tools, and gages
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Use mathematical computations to determine nonconformance and complete necessary paperwork
  • Follow proper procedures to perform inspection checks and verification of dimensions
  • Recognize the need for repair or replacement of measuring equipment and arrange for necessary maintenance
  • Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives
  • Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and be flexible around shifts for training and to maintain workflow
What You Will Learn

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in:

  • Aerospace manufacturing processes and systems

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in inspection or quality control (non-aerospace experience acceptable)
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Basic shop math skills
