About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UR Coordinator to join our team at UHS. As a UR Coordinator, you will play a critical role in promoting quality care outcomes and the effective use of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and patients to ensure quality care outcomes
  • Accurately interpret treatment plans and medical records in accordance with current standards of care
  • Manage treatment activities offered to patients, including clinical screening of admissions and establishment of treatment plans
  • Interface with treatment teams, external case managers, and managed care organizations to ensure effective care coordination
  • Implement and supervise discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions of care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Minimum of two years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting
  • Experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, and quality improvement guidelines, particularly with Medicare/Medicaid and external review organizations
  • RN licensure with BSN highly preferred; additional certifications in case management, mental health, and quality improvement highly regarded
