Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team in the Family Wellness Department. As a critical member of our multidisciplinary staff, you will provide crisis counseling, case management, advocacy, support, and follow-up services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

  • Respond to crisis calls and messages, providing immediate support and guidance to victims;
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized case plans to address their specific challenges;
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and client success;
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress;
  • Participate in case conferences and other meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination among team members;
  • Conduct follow-up sessions with clients to assess progress and provide ongoing support;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community partners to enhance services and expand reach;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, and experience working with diverse populations. You should also be proficient in crisis intervention techniques and able to work effectively under pressure.
