Position Summary:
The Early Childhood Education Assistant plays a vital role in supporting educators in the development and implementation of engaging lessons for children aged 12 months to 5 years. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at fostering a safe and nurturing environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of educational activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children during outdoor playtime.
  • Encourage positive behavior and social skills among children.
  • Support children with personal care routines, including diapering and potty training.
  • Engage children through storytelling, games, and music.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's degree preferred. Experience working with young children is essential, and state certification is a plus.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain open communication with parents to ensure a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers in planning and organizing classroom activities.
  • Document observations regarding children's development and behavior.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily classroom-based, with working hours typically falling between 7:30 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. Flexibility in hours may be required based on program needs.

Physical Requirements:
