RN Department Manager

We are seeking a skilled RN Department Manager to lead our Cardiac Cath Lab team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing lab services activities, workflow, and nursing resources.
Key Responsibilities- Manage catheterization lab services activities, workflow, and nursing resources.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
- Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor and adhere to budgets.
- Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Required professional licensure/certification and 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
