Housing Specialist

Central City Concern is a nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to individuals and families impacted by homelessness, poverty, and addictions in the Portland metro area.
We are seeking a Housing Specialist to assist participants in the Economic Opportunity Program (EOP) with their housing search by determining eligibility, administering rent assistance funding, and maintaining paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine participant eligibility for rent assistance
- Administer rent assistance funding
- Complete and maintain paperwork
- Enter payment and outcome data into the data system
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of housing resources, human service agencies, and community groups
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health diagnosis and chemical dependency desirable
- Ability to work weekends and/or evenings as necessary
- Computer skills to accomplish duties
