Geisinger Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and challenging environment. As an Advanced Acute Care Medical Telemetry Trauma Float Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and supportive environment for our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, organize, and evaluate patient care to meet the needs of patients and families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and diagnostic studies, as well as educating patients and families on health and wellness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs and other activities designed to improve departmental and organizational quality and safety.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
