The Opportunity

DAT is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Lead to join our SRE platform team.

This position will work hybrid in Beaverton, OR; Denver, CO; or remote in Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and respond to critical engineering incidents
  • Lead and mentor SRE engineers to improve their technical skills
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for cloud infrastructure
  • Spearhead major reliability-focused initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate with platform architects and management to ensure reliability targets are met
  • Migrate legacy systems to modern, scalable cloud environments
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, especially with SRE teams
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience (JavaScript, Python, Go, C++, etc)
  • Strong incident management skills
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
  • Demonstrated success in leading large technical initiatives
  • Proven experience migrating legacy technologies to managed cloud infrastructure
  • Ability to work closely with both platform architects and management to drive key reliability improvements
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and best practices for reliability
