**About the Position:** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Cardiopulmonary Specialist to join our team at VCU Health. This is a dynamic role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Job:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for administering cardiopulmonary exercise assessments, developing treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases, and making clinical decisions about safety and contraindications of assessment/testing/training procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or a related allied health field and be certified as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
  • This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and interact with patients and staff at all levels.
  • We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or a related allied health field.
  • Certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
  • Current CPR (BLS-C) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
