Key Responsibilities:
As a Fire Protection Technician, you will:
- Receive service requests and assess equipment/system issues.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on various sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of proven experience in the fire sprinkler industry.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
- Ability to maintain inventory for timely service response.
- Physical capability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable working in challenging positions, including heights and confined spaces.
