Job Title: Manager, Preop/Pacu

OrthoVirginia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Preop/Pacu to lead our team in providing exceptional surgical care to patients. As a key member of our perioperative services team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of our multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the perioperative team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
  • Interpret, direct, and evaluate nursing practice to promote safe and effective nursing care throughout the PAT, Pre-op, and PACU phases of care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of professional school of Nursing, preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
  • Current CPR, ACLS, PALS.
  • Knowledge of AAAHC rules and regulations.
  • 10 CEUs annually.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading a team.
